Andy Merrill

Andy joined Ignition in 2016 to lead our digital solutions and development service. With many years of experience in software development and process improvement across many industries, Andy brings a human voice to what can sometimes be very technical language.

Before working directly for Ignition Andy has held “hands-on” leadership roles in IT for international businesses including Pitney Bowes and GE, along with founding his own web and application development business, where Ignition were an important client.

At Ignition, his role is to look across all of our broker clients, ourselves and internal clients within AXA, providing them with opportunities to improve their business through cost-effective digital tools and services. Usability, reliability and supportability are key to all of the web & mobile apps and websites we build.

In his free time, Andy enjoys his family, travelling, listening to music, gaming and inevitably nerding out learning about the latest technologies and how they might improve Ignition’s solutions and services.
